CA GEN Developer - Swansea
I am looking for a CA GEN Developer to work with The Service Creation organisation within the DVLA for a 12 month contract role.
You will be required to undertake development work on the DVLA's Central Vehicles Management System (VSS), working on various projects to deliver mandatory and legislative changes.
The role will include technical analysis, low level design, production and unit code using CA GEN. You will be working with UNIX scripting for data extraction and data management as well as working with complex batch scheduling systems.
Essential skills and experience
Experience of development in CA GEN in a UNIX Environment, demonstrating a minimum of 10 years' experience.
Experience and experience of using SQL with an Oracle (or equivalent) database, demonstrating a minimum of 10 years' experience.
Provide evidence of using Oracle's PL/SQL demonstrating a minimum of 3 years' experience.
Provide evidence of UNIX Shell scripting, demonstrating a minimum of 5 years' experience.
Provide evidence of batch scheduling in a UNIX environment demonstrating a minimum of 5 years' experience.
Experience of GEN development specifically on an AIX (IBM) platform demonstrating a minimum of 2 years' experience.
This role is outside IR35 and is due to start at the beginning of May (latest).
