Cryptosecurity Engineer / West Midlands / Fantastic Scope for career development

£30,000 - 45,000 per annum DOE

Access IT Recruitment are working with a client who are currently undertaking a large-scale transformation in their Cyber Division due to a multi-million-pound investment.

As a result, they are recruiting for several Cryptosecurity Engineer's at varying levels from junior to senior.

As a member of the Crypto team you will be involved with a variety of levels of maturity of systems, ranging from research into future concepts for cryptography, through requirements and architecture for future systems, through design of systems that use cryptography, to modifying in-service systems.

The team play a key role in the modernisation and transformation of high-grade crypto capability to Government and commercial clients across the UK. The expert team provide technical advice and design aspects of systems that include cryptography and key management.

Required Experience

I'm keen to speak with candidates who have a desire to specialize in crypto technology and you will be qualified to at least University Honours Degree or equivalent (minimum upper second class)

Post graduate experience, either in academia (i.e. MSc, PhD) or industry, in a related field (information security, cryptography, computer/network security).

All team members are highly innovative, able to develop/analyse solutions, interpret customer requirements and understand/shape both the "big picture" and technical details. We have an adaptable and flexible approach to work and have a willingness to support each other and the wider team. You'll also need to be a UK national and willing to undergo government vetting to achieve UK security clearance.
