Cyber Incident Response Practice Lead / Greenfield Project / £70,000 - 75,000 per annum, excellent work life balance / West Midlands then remote based
Access IT Recruitment are working with a client who are currently undertaking a major transformation within their Cyber Division and the decision has been taken to create and establish a Cyber Incident Response Capability.
If you are seeking a role that will offer you the chance to create, lead and shape the new capability whilst maintaining work/life balance then this could be the opportunity for you.
If you're at that stage in your life where Work Life Balance is hugely important to you, this role can 100% offer that … no more 60-70-hour weeks!!
From day one you will take charge of key decisions which include the selection and implementation of new technologies, defining governance requirements and operational processes. You will also recruit and develop your own team with the required skills to create a leading IR capability.
For the first 3 to 4 months you will be expected to be on-site in the West Midlands for 2/3 days a week to work closely with the CTO to set up the new capability. Once the IR function is up and running you will have the option to work from any of the client's offices across the UK, or to work remotely from home.
The role is predominantly UK focussed however there will be the requirement for occasional international travel.
Ideally, I'm looking to speak with candidates who have worked at leadership level and who have the operational and technical experience to lead this greenfield project, using cutting edge practices and methodologies.
