Project Manager / Cyber Security / Hampshire or Leeds / circa £55,000 per annum DOE

Access IT & Digital Talent are partnering with a cyber security business who are seeking a proactive, hands-on Project Manager to join the organisation.

The client offers the full suite of Cyber services and deliver Architecture, Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, Penetration Testing, SIEM/SOAR Development & Consultancy to a diverse, global customer base.

As Project Manager you will work closely with clients to develop, deploy, and manage the delivery of services to new customers as well as adapting services for existing customers in order to continuously improve the efficiency of the SOC’s monitoring capability. Working with operations teams based in the UK and overseas, you will ensure the build, validation and testing of products/services is robust prior to engaging with security SMEs to approve acceptance into live service.

The role will be a mixture of remote and office work. Location wise you can either be based in the Leeds Security Operation Centre or with the leadership team in Farnborough, Hampshire.

Previous managed security services experience would be an advantage for the role but isn’t essential, and the client will consider candidates who are interested in moving into the Cyber Security sector.

Essential experience:

  • Significant proven experience in complex IT projects.

  • Proven experience working with diversely located and multi skilled teams.

  • Proven experience managing internal and external stakeholders.

  • Significant experience maintaining effective project controls (i.e. RAID)

  • Excellent project financial management experience.

  • Ability to plan and lead review and project boards with senior client and internal stakeholders.

  • Hold at least one recognised Project Management qualification (i.e. PRINCE2, APMP etc.)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Project or equivalent planning software

Advantageous:

  • Experience of managed security services and the on boarding of clients.

  • Experience of working on projects with ArcSight or similar SIEM’s.

  • Knowledge of IT security technology, operations, and deployments.

  • Experience of IT networking and infrastructure projects.
