Digital Strategy Project Manager – London – £300 – £350 per day

I am working with a Global Manufacturing organisation who are looking for a Digital Strategy Project Manager. You will help run this intense 5-month strategy definition process for the group, collaborating closely with the 6 operating companies

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with all stakeholders (and their assistants) internally and external digital / consultancy partners to manage and communicate the schedule for the project as a whole and ensure interviews, meetings and workshops are all scheduled and accepted within respective diaries

  • Assist in sensitive and appropriate stakeholder management throughout the process

  • Maintain close contact with the 4 workstreams to ensure all aspects of the strategy definition process are delivered on time, to budget and specification and with the highest quality

  • Help facilitate close day to day collaboration between the operating companies, group personnel and external experts throughout the 5-month assignment

  • Work with those appointed to carry out the current state assessment, a key part of the total process, to gather all necessary information from the operating companies in the UK and Europe to allow the consultants to complete their assessment

  • Liaise with all senior and other stakeholders at the client to provide preparatory material in good time such that they can be appropriately prepared for interviews and workshops throughout the process

  • To help prepare and distribute agendas and follow-up communications

  • Record and manage the detailed tasks emerging from the process in interviews, workshops, sessions with external partners, internal meetings with the clients’ team members

  • Apply rigorous scope change control, ensure dependencies are tightly managed and issues resolved in a timely manner

  • To develop and maintain relationships with key project partners / suppliers to drive timely, accurate and consistent delivery of project activity

  • Ensure regular, timely and clear communication of the progress of the process to all of those concerned.

  • Financial (budget creation and management) skills to a reasonable standard

  • Good, fast slide creation skills

  • Experience of digital technologies

  • French, German or other European languages useful but not essential

  • Experience of work across different countries important
