Information Systems Auditor / Nicosia, Cyprus / €35,000 - 45,000 per annum

Access IT Recruitment are working with a well-known financial institution in Nicosia, Cyprus who are seeking an Information Systems Auditor.

As Information Systems Auditor you will assist in preparing the annual IT Risk Assessment and Audit Plan whilst working alongside the Audit Manager. The successful candidate should have knowledge and experience in developing audit programmes and procedures to carry out the assigned audit engagements. Audit techniques will be utilised to assess tech for the clients (CAATs), vulnerability testing, code/configuration reviews, scripting as well as audit, security and monitoring tools.

The client is committed to employee development and will subsidise for professional qualifications relating to the position such as information systems, fraud detection, data analytics and internal audit certifications.

Candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (or other related subject), Professional certification (CISA / CISSP, GSNA or equivalent). Sufficient knowledge of risk management, IT and Security, frameworks (ITIL, ISO, COBIT etc.) and of course auditing.

  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in information systems auditing, security or related area.

  • Experience in the execution of technical audit programs and automated testing (scripts, auditing software, security tools)

  • Experience in vulnerability and configuration testing and performing reviews for a variety of technologies, systems and applications (network and telecommunications, operating systems)

Whilst it would be advantageous to have the experience listed above, the client is willing to consider candidates who may be lacking in some of these areas but who are critical thinkers, show an eagerness to develop their skills and who are results orientated.
