IT Service Desk Manager – Work from Home – INSIDE IR35 – 12 Months

I urgently require an experienced IT Service/Help Desk Manager for a 12 month contract in South Yorkshire. Due to the current Covid restrictions, the role will be home based, this will change to office based if and when the situation changes.

I am looking for an experienced IT Help Desk manager to drive process improvements and the procurement of a new ticketing system, along with the day to day operations.

  • Day to day oversight of Service Desk delivery
  • Process improvement work, to identify process improvements that would be beneficial for the day to day operations.
  • Develop a revised service management operating model within ITIL framework
  • Improve utilisation of IT staff working from home (i.e. those who provide service to the help desk)
  • Specification and procurement of a new service desk ticketing system and associated KPI reporting.
  • Team size 10/12
  • Working alongside quality improvement lead, transformation team to support with methodology, management support through IT management leads.
