Senior Frontend Developer – Perm – Nottinghamshire – £40-£55k

We are currently searching for a Senior Front End Developer who will be a key voice on how to execute and put the best practices in place within my clients teams. This is an awesome opportunity where you can Inspire and mentor others in the team on how to do things the right way. You would be sat within the e-comm team working across their extensive e-comm platform.

You will be encouraged to be brave, you will not have to ask for permission to do something, if you think it will work do it, if breaks you will work together to fix it.

The Dev team as a whole are going through some serious growth with 17 positions available across all areas and there is no sign of this slowing down.

Responsibility

• Training and mentoring the others within the team
• Making key decisions on the approach of how the projects are implemented
• Sharing knowledge with the wider teams to improve the standards for all
• Being passionate about doing things the correct way by writing clean, concise, refactored code that is easy to be maintained
• Thoroughly testing all work across all devices and browsers
• Taking wireframe designs and executing a project either from scratch or utilising existing resource
• Collaborating with UI/UX and graphic designers to effectively deliver the work
• Collaborating with SEO professionals in executing content with the best practices
• Collaborating with Software Developers including writing briefs and specification requirements

Tech Stuff

• Strong HTML knowledge, CSS and JS, with cross-browser support
• Knowledge and experience working with SASS or LESS pre-processors Understanding of ES5 as well as newer ES6 Javascript
• Experience with jQuery
• Ability to transform wireframe designs into working code
• Oh and React would be nice 🙂
