I am working with a regional branch of a large public sector organisation to recruit 2 Senior Service Desk Analysts to join their team based in Basildon, Essex, on an initial 3 month contract.
The role provides a rate up to a maximum of £145 per day, and does fall inside IR35 legislation, so you must work through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract.
To investigate complex technical enquiries providing assistance and advice as required to supported clients.
To ensure that all escalated Incidents and Requests are passed on with sufficient accurate technical information for the recipient support team
To ensure the clients are kept aware of the situation and that a solution to their incident is being sought within the timescale of the SLA targets.
The successful candidate...:
Significant experience supporting a Windows 7 desktop environments
Experience supporting a diverse range of applications and hardware types
In depth knowledge and skills across a range of current and developing ICT areas
Server support experience at a technical level
Experience in an IT Network / Infrastructure support team
Experience using the LANDesk Service Desk service management toolset
An advanced recognised Industry Standard qualification in IT to degree or equivalent level qualification or relevant experience i.e. Microsoft or Cisco certification
Working knowledge of PRINCE2 project management methodology
