I am currently recruiting for a Service Architect to work on a 90 day contract (18 weeks / 4 months) in Telford, West Midlands, for a public sector organisation.
The role is inside IR35, so will require candidates to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract, and the successful candidate will need to be BPSS cleared.
This role is part of a team that works with a leading-edge Cloud based infrastructure to administer and support and drive operational architecture input throughout the full IT delivery and service management lifecycle from strategy through design, transition, operation and improvement. This includes:
Defining operational architecture policies, standards and guidelines
Defining service operation requirements
Governing operational architecture design
Assuring operational architecture delivery
Supporting service transition and operation
Driving service improvement
Being able to keep up-to-date with, assimilate, adapt to and apply emerging/evolving approaches and technologies such as DevOps and Cloud
Service Architecture Role Service design for new and existing CDG services, ownership of end to end transition
To provide operational sign off at appropriate governance boards and input to designs to ensure that solutions are operable and supportable to meet the customer experience vision.
To act as the technical authority to CDG and consumers of CDG services and work alongside Service Operations from the start of the project development lifecycle through to live running.
To lead Service Transition and sign off to service in CDG
