Service Delivery Manager – Sheffield – £45k – £50k – Permanent
I am working with an award-winning Sheffield business to help them find a Service Delivery Manager. This role will define and expand their offering to clients during a period of rapid growth for the company, which has seen the demand for support increase.
This role has overall accountability for all support activity, balancing strategy with operational management to ensure all support is delivered with the highest possible efficiency and customer determined success.
The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, developing and managing the support team on first and second line support and refining their existing processes as they scale and adapt to their customers’ changing needs.
Experience in managing support teams and coaching individuals
Proven track record of building support teams
Knowledge of or qualification in ITIL
Strong supplier and vendor management experience
A value & respect for the core competencies that enable excellent customer support
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Experience managing senior stakeholders and customer review sessions
Great negotiator and a very good listener
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
The ability to deal with change, and flexibility to adapt and help others to adapt
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
