SOAR Developer / Security Engineering / SOC Engineer / Security Orchestration, Automation & Response / circa £45,000 per annum

Access IT & Digital Talent are working with a market leading MSSP who are seeking a SOAR Developer to join their security team.

This is an excellent opportunity to specialise and progress in the field and is key in delivering the future products and services that the business will be offering.

I’m seeking someone who has a passion for combatting cyber threats by developing playbook solutions and improving toolsets to enable this. Ideally you will have a SIEM/MSSP service stack, content development background and an awareness of cyber threats to assist Security Analysts and thus protect clients.

Previous experience with Security Orchestration platforms such as Siemplify, Demisto, IBM Resilient and Splunk Phantom would be very desirable (but not essential) along with SOAR playbook and Python experience.

I am able to consider Security Analysts who are looking for that next step who can demonstrate that they have gone the extra mile in terms of making their platforms better, new ideas, more efficient, projects they have started etc.

Alongside the technical experience, I’m looking to speak with candidates who have a real passion for Security and a strong desire to learn new techniques and technologies.

As SOAR Developer you will…

• Create and maintain SOAR Playbooks and custom content

• Suggest and implement technical improvements to the platform

• Liaise with solution providers on a regular basis to assist with system improvements and updates

• Create documentation and process designs relevant to the Orchestration platform and projects

• Implement future integrations to support improvements to the Security Analysts and triage process

• Assist with training on the orchestration platform and internal demonstrations of its capabilities

• Create new users in the platform and assist with onboarding new customers

• Identify improvements and possible automation of our security solutions where feasible for placement on Product and Service development roadmaps

• Assist the Leadership team in the development of partnerships with vendors
