Solution Architect – Nottingham/Remote working

My Nottinghamshire based client, a major player in the entertainment sector, require an experienced Solution Architect to join their team and help shape and define their IT Estate

Although their offices are based in Nottingham, you will predominantly be home based with travel to the office only required once or twice per month, unless you prefer more time in the office!

Working closely with our IT Infrastructure, Development, Database and Project teams as well as Senior Management across IT and the wider business., you’ll be involved from the early stages of a project to ensure requirements are met, producing high quality solutions with detailed technical documentation to be used by implementation teams.

You’ll exploit new technologies to support the business’s objectives and ensure existing solutions are reviewed and well documented.

Skills and Experience

• Demonstrable experience in systems integration & services design

• Good knowledge and experience of SOA, Microservice and Integration architectures including legacy integration

• Strong experience of Technical Architecture

• A proven ability to deliver flexible, reliable, supportable, cost effective IT solution designs

• An understanding of cost models for cloud service use – designing for cost efficiency

• Experience of documenting and discussing complex data requirements

• Capability to articulate complex ideas and requirements to suppliers and stakeholders in a simple way

• Familiarity with established architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
