I'm looking for a Website Project Manager for a Government organisation based in London to project manage the delivery of a new website from early planning through to going live.
Following an analysis of their current website, there is now a detailed list of requirements for a new website. As Project Manager you will be required to:
Source and finalise the invitation to tender for a company to design the new website
Appoint and client manage the company to ensure the project is delivered to a high standard, with good engagement internally and is on time and on budget.
Essential skills and experience
5 years' digital experience, with strong HTML, CSS skills and advanced knowledge of the relevant web standards (accessibility, usability, information architecture, SEO)
Excellent management skills
Strong technical knowledge that will allow you to speak effectively with both the technical team and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to manage many different jobs and meet deadlines consistently
Expertise in digital design, user experience and information architecture testing
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience overseeing the implementation of a new website, including migration from the old website to the new
Have experience of working for public sector
Experience in developing Government websites
