2nd Line Support Engineer, support Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer - Windows, VoIP, ITIL - South Yorkshire - 6 Months.
I currently require a 2nd Line Support Engineer for a piece of work in Sheffield. The ideal candidates will have previous Support experience at 2nd line support and the role will run for an initial 6 months with the possibility of extension. I am looking for someone who has worked in a real-time IT support environment supporting a large end user base of around 1000.
You will be working in large IT department, as part of a support team. You will be responsible for a variety of IT related issues, troubleshoot hardware, software and basic networking faults investigating causes, diagnosing faults and researching and implementing solutions, re-image desktops and laptops.
- Exchange and Active Directory
- MS Office
- Windows Desktop and Server support
- Desktop / Remote Support
- Basic Networking, Troubleshooting
- Excellent customer service skills
- VoIP Technology (ideally Avaya CS1K)
- ITIL v3 Foundation / experience of working in an ITIL environment
- Clean driving licence
You must be able to work in a team but have the ability and confidence to work alone. Excellent customer services experience is essential. This role is to start within the next 3 weeks.
