IT Support Desk Manager / Doncaster / £30,000 - 35,000 per annum
Access IT Recruitment are working with a organisation who are amongst the largest in Europe within their sector. They are currently seeking a Support Desk Manager to lead a core support team which forms part of a wider Information Systems Team.
Your team will be responsible for delivering timely and robust solutions to ensure appropriate levels of service are met. The position offers a split between team leadership and requires a "hands-on" approach to resolve more complex issues where you will work closely with other departments or external software and hardware suppliers to deliver timely solutions.
Management of all Information System Support requests
Ensure operational KPI's are identified, measured and rigorously delivered
Development, implementation and management of practical standards aligned with ITIL frameworks and best practice
Ensuring completion of all support activities within the appropriate SLA's
Ensure that a customer-centric approach and attitude is adhered to by all team members
Ensuring compliance with hardware and software standards
Ideally 3+ years' experience managing an IT Helpdesk in a similar sized organisation
Strong understanding of SLA's, measurement of adherence and compliance to these
ITIL v3 certified
Experience of the practical implementation/application of an ITIL approach in the
Excellent communication and people management skills
Ideally knowledge of Office 365
Desirable to have project management experience or exposure to a project based approach to service delivery
