Job Description

Senior .NET Developer - Mansfield - up to 70k + Benefits

If you're reading this advert then chances are you've probably already guessed who this role is to work for and already have your own preconceptions, well I'm here to tell you that a couple of years ago they might have been right. But just like me rocking curtains and double denim in the 90's we all change for the better.

Over the last 18 months this retail giant has made great leaps forward in terms of employee environment, training and development and all round nice place to work and we're looking for a senior developer to come in and join them.

You'll be able to immerse yourself in a variety of projects as everything is taken care of in-house and when we say everything we mean everything.

  • Want to work on automated warehouse solutions (who doesn't) … check

  • Analytical forecasting systems for their buying teams … check

  • Developing new features for their EPOS system … check

  • Developing new applications … you get the picture

  • They're even looking at how AI. Automation and robotics can improve the business… pretty interesting right?

What we're getting at is this role is varied and no day will be the same, it's a great opportunity to work for an employer that value training and development and reward you for it as well.

What are they looking for;

  • Extensive C# .NET experience

  • WebAPI and/or WCF

  • SQL Server 2012 & T-SQL - they're hugely data orientated

  • Ability to work a Senior role and mentor / lead junior team members

Nice to haves;

  • Windows Forms

  • WPF

  • SSIS

  • Team Foundation Server / Git or any other version control software

  • Azure

So why not ditch the preconceptions, let's have a chat (I'll buy you a coffee if you can put up with me in person), and discuss how actually this role is a pretty cracking opportunity
